The New York Beef Industry council recognized us (Aiello’s) for the unique application of veal on our menu for this region (Southern tier) and on March 7, 2007 Vincenzo Aiello and Maria Aiello won a medal, $500.00 and a plaque against 6 other regional winners from NY State. The category that we won is CONVENIENCE COOKING WITH VEAL
Tender Veal cutlet rolled with Prosciutto Di Parma, Swiss cheese, and roasted red pepper,
cooked to perfection, served in a Marsala and mushroom sauce,

The three legs of the Trinacria, the heraldic symbol of Sicily, are said to represent the island's three points. The head depicted in the center is that of Medusa. The Trinacria is quite similar to the three-legged heraldic symbol of the Isle of Man, another medieval Norman dominion.
